From day one, athletics play a crucial role in your child’s Langley journey. Here, exercise and competition don’t stand apart from the rest of education—they intentionally fuel every student’s academic and emotional growth. That’s why we provide physical education classes for all children from their first day of preschool, where our youngest students build motor skills and mental and physical well-being through yoga and other developmentally attuned movement. And a favorite Langley tradition is our annual Field Day—one day for grades 1-8 and another for kindergartners—when teams of students compete in fun and creative athletic events.

Starting in fifth grade, we also offer competitive interscholastic team sports at the varsity and junior varsity levels, including soccer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, baseball, softball, and lacrosse, along with a spring track-and-field meet and coed tennis. Our gym is filled with championship banners, a testament to our balanced values of participation, sportsmanship and high-level competition.

Through our fun, invigorating program, your child experiences the joys and challenges of teamwork, earns confidence by building physical strength and skill, develops sportsmanship, and knows the exhilaration of robust health. In our supportive, inclusive environment, children flourish through a leveled approach tailored for beginning, intermediate, and experienced athletes.
