Parent Association
All Langley parents are automatically members of the Parent Association of The Langley School (PALS), the school’s active parent association that supports, promotes, and coordinates volunteer efforts and encourages school spirit, family participation, and an inclusive community.
Governed by a 10-member Executive Committee, PALS oversees the community-building and fundraising efforts of more than 35 standing committees and generally holds monthly meetings to discuss school-related issues and feature guest speakers.
Some of PALS’ many volunteer opportunities include:
- Promoting school spirit or organizing sports banquets
- Working in the school store
- Delivering lunches
- Planning special events such as the Fall Fair, Grandparents & Special Friends Day, book fairs, and faculty/staff appreciation luncheons
- Assisting in the library
- Helping with the spring fundraiser
