What I’ve discovered at Langley: The value of fully supporting a child, but giving him or her the opportunity to grow through challenge.
What my children have learned: After ten years at Langley, I can tell that my oldest son has a confident and deep sense of self that truly shined and progressed throughout the outplacement process. He is ready to move forward because of the strong foundation he built at Langley.
The moment that confirmed this was the right place for my child: When I saw how confident my children were when talking with their teachers.

Favorite Langley memory: Going to music stores with my jazz ensemble teacher to pick out a trumpet—way out of town, on a Saturday, no less.
Favorite Langley classes: English, history, music, and theater. Actually, it’s hard to choose.
Why we chose Langley: The moment we stepped on campus, we could tell that Langley was a happy and positive place. We saw nurturing teachers greeting excited students – it felt like a family.
What I love most about teaching at Langley: Seeing the kids develop. I feel so blessed to watch them learn and grow in such an important year in their schooling.
What I’ve learned from my colleagues: We are a team and work together to make sure every student receives individual attention. We want to truly know each student and what he or she needs. Each kid is understood
What prompted me to come here: Langley wanted an athletic program that would encourage the students at every level of development. I was surprised at how open they were to letting me design the curriculum that I thought would work best for the kids. We have worked and reworked every aspect of the program, and I am very proud of the impact it is having on all of our students.
Why we chose Langley: Langley focuses on learning to learn, not rote memorization.
What my child learned at Langley: To love learning. Langley taught my children that they might not always know the answer, but they know how to go out there and find it.
