Spring Fundraiser

Mark your calendars! The Langley School’s spring auction will be held at the school on Saturday, April 18, 2009. Langley’s annual auction supports the school by raising unrestricted funds for the benefit of our talented faculty and extraordinary students! Auction proceeds make an immediate difference in the lives of our students and enrich the learning environment, and indeed the entire community, in a myriad of ways.

Thanks to the generosity of the Langley community, the 2008 auction raised more than $180,000 for the people and programs that make Langley such a vibrant educational institution. The 2009 auction co-chairs, in partnership with the school’s Advancement Office, are eagerly planning another blockbuster event.

This annual event is actually two events under one “auction” umbrella. It consists of an online auction scheduled to take place Friday, April 3 – Thursday, April 16 followed by the auction on Saturday, April 18. The Saturday event will include a cocktail reception, dinner, live auction, raffles, music, dancing, and much merriment!

We need your help to make Langley’s major fundraising event a great success! We hope you will choose to support Langley through one or more of the following ways:

  • Get involved! Volunteer to serve on the Auction Committee.
  • Donate an item for the online or live auction.
  • Be an event partner/sponsor.
  • Purchase an advertisement or a “Message from the Heart” for the auction program book.
  • Bid, bid, bid in the online auction.
  • Attend the auction on Saturday, April 18!

If you wish to volunteer or discuss a donation, sponsorship, or advertisement, please contact Danielle Aguilar (danielle@bixler.com), Jenny Weisberg (jgweisberg@verizon.net), or Meg Clute in the Advancement Office (mclute@langleyschool.org). They would be delighted to hear from you!

Please consider how you might support Langley’s major fundraising event and do plan on joining Langley faculty and friends on April 18 to celebrate our school, our teachers, our children, and the families who support and nurture them.
