The Langley Fund
What exactly is The Langley Fund?
The Langley Fund is the school’s annual fund and most important source of revenue other than student tuition. It is a vital part of the annual operating budget, contributing to every part of the school’s operation, including fine arts, athletics, technology, professional development, and financial aid.
The Langley Fund provides the margin of excellence that makes a Langley education exceptional.
Tuition and fees cover approximately 80-90 percent of the cost of a Langley education. Like all independent schools, our school relies on a combination of tuition revenues, endowment funds, and the private support of individuals – alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, faculty, staff, and corporations and foundations – to make possible the many aspects of a Langley education.
Private support helps strengthen The Langley School in many ways, including:
- Enriching the lives of our students with diverse cultural, artistic, and recreational programs and activities.
- Providing cutting-edge technology to ensure that students have access to the latest resources.
- Enabling faculty members to grow and share professionally throughout their careers.
- Offering opportunities for healthy competition, exercise, sportsmanship, personal growth, and self-respect.
- Inspiring personal creativity and individual expression in drama, music, and art.
The Langley Fund annual giving campaign begins on July 1 and ends on June 30 every year. Please consider making a gift today. Click here to give online.
