Facilities
The Langley School is located on a beautiful 9.2-acre campus in McLean, Virginia. Our students learn, play, and grow in these state-of-the-art facilities:
- Crossroads building which opened in 2022 and houses classrooms for Primary School and grade 5, as well as the school library
- Middle School building intentionally designed for grades 6-8 which opened in 2014
- Discovery-focused science labs, technology and innovation lab, and fabrication lab
- Artificial turf athletic field
- Arts center featuring a multipurpose auditorium
- Athletic center with two gyms
- Two playgrounds
- Tricycle track
- Wooded nature area
- Outdoor gardens that also serve as classrooms
- Rooftop “classroom in the sky”
Transportation
Round-trip or one-way bus service is available, including mid-day transportation for preschool and junior kindergarten students. The school also provides an after-school activities bus.
Extended day programs
Langley offers several options to extend the school day. Preschool and junior kindergarten students may attend the Leopard Spot until 2:45 p.m., while Club E.D. is available from 3:00-6:00 p.m. daily for all students.
