The Langley School, a Preschool-8 independent school in McLean, Virginia, anticipates hiring a dynamic middle school science teacher to join us for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The Science teacher will teach middle school, and will design and deliver instruction that reflects our inquiry-based instructional model, providing targeted and timely feedback on student learning, and adapting instruction based on student progress. The Science teacher will also participate in the life of the school, including, but not limited to being an advisor, teaching electives, chaperoning day and overnight trips, supervision of break and/or lunch, and other duties as assigned by the Middle School division head.

Teaching Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Advanced degree preferred
- A minimum of three years prior experience teaching in a school setting
Ideal candidates will possess the following:

- Experience developing curriculum is strongly preferred
