High School Placement

MS students in the science classroom

Preparing confident, self-aware young people for high school – and lives of self-determined significance

As our students enter eighth grade, we draw on the self-awareness, self-motivation, and academic prowess attained at Langley to help them choose and apply to the high schools that best fit who they have become and will become in the years ahead.

This active, reflective transition process occurs at a crucial moment in each student’s personal development. As the process unfolds, students come to truly understand and articulate their own identity, empowering them to step confidently into the wider world. And there’s no better practice for college applications.

Langley’s high school placement team is here to support our families every step of the way throughout this transformational process.

About the High School Placement Process

I learned my ABCs and 123s, but most importantly I learned how to be a classmate, citizen, and friend. Langley has prepared me for high school and the rest of my future by teaching me valuable lessons about core values and by giving me special friends.

I am successful in high school because Langley taught me how to manage my time with my extracurricular activities. I also learned about leadership and public speaking.
