Due to the popularity of our classes, waitlists do occur. To place your child on the waitlist, you must register for the specific class waitlist. There is no fee for being on a waitlist, nor is any credit card information required. We cannot take registrations or hold spots over the phone. Please know that as spaces become available, they are filled in the order in which they were registered for the waitlist.
Should a space become available, you will be notified via email and/or telephone to confirm interest in the available spot(s). If you decide to enroll your child in the available spot(s), you will need to complete your registration by paying the deposit and/or full payment online. There is no penalty should you choose not to enroll.

What are your COVID-19 mask and illness policies?
Below are the COVID-19 protocols currently in place at The Langley School and, therefore, Summer Studio. Please note that all COVID-19 protocols are subject to change based on local and Langley data. Parents will be notified of changes by email.
Monitoring for Illness: The Langley School community has had great success with monitoring, reporting, and preventing illness because of the commitment of families to keep children home if they are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. If a camper is symptomatic, it is expected that parents keep them home and follow up with a COVID-19 test and a check-in with the child's healthcare provider. Please be prepared to pick your child up from camp if symptoms are noticed while at school and to follow up with the child’s healthcare provider and the summer nurse before returning.
Masks: Mask-wearing is currently optional both indoors and outdoors on Langley’s campus except for in large group settings. If gathering as a large group indoors, students will be required to wear masks. Campers should have a mask in their backpack every day in case the need for one should arise. Parents who prefer that their child wears a mask all day should have that conversation with the child. High-quality, properly fitting masks are still recommended as the best defense against COVID-19. The mask-wearing policy could change based on Langley and local data.
Notification of a Positive Case: If a camper tests positive for COVID-19, families are required to notify the Summer Studio Office by email as soon as possible. The summer nurse will work with the family to determine when the camper may return to campus based on Langley’s isolation policy. Each class will be notified of positive cases in the class if they occur. Langley is not currently contact tracing or requiring quarantine for close contacts. Please send documentation of the positive COVID-19 test result to the Summer Studio Office at summer@langleyschool.org.
Isolation: The current Langley policy for isolation after a positive case is as follows: Students, faculty, and staff with confirmed cases of COVID-19 are not permitted to come to campus and must remain in isolation for five days with a return on day six as long as the individual is asymptomatic and they have received negative results to a rapid antigen test administered on day five.
Refunds Due to a Positive Case of COVID-19: If a camper has a confirmed, documented case of COVID-19, a refund will be issued for the days missed while the child is in isolation. If a child comes to camp and must be sent home due to illness, a refund will not be issued for that day. If a child is not diagnosed with COVID-19 but misses camp, a refund will not be issued.
Can I request a friend to be in my child’s class/group?
Summer Studio will make every effort to accommodate requests for campers to be in the same group as a friend or family member who is registered for the same class or age group as we know how important this can be to our campers. However, requests are not guaranteed.

If medication and documentation are not provided, the child will be sent home and not permitted to return to Summer Studio until all materials have been submitted. Medication must be picked up at the end of Summer Studio.
