The Langley Fund

Kids at lockers

The Langley Fund provides critical annual operating support that allows us to go beyond what tuition affords and further invest in programs and priorities that create an exceptional educational experience.

The Langley Fund bolsters all aspects of the Langley experience, including:

Program Equity and Enhancement: The Langley Fund provides for classroom materials, guest speakers, and other educational resources. Through investment in The Langley Fund, we ensure that our students and teachers have the resources necessary to excel in the classroom, on the stage, and on the athletic field.

Tuition Assistance: We believe making a Langley education accessible to qualified students from a variety of backgrounds deepens learning for everyone. The school awarded $1.9 million in tuition assistance to 18 percent of the student body during the 2022-2023 academic year.

Trips and Experiential Learning: Annual team-building overnight experiential trips for grades 5-8 are hallmarks of a Langley education. These opportunities allow all students to immerse themselves in a different environment, build independence and leadership skills, and create strong bonds with their peers at no additional cost to families.

Faculty and Staff Appreciation: Our teachers are Langley’s most valuable resource, so we make it a priority to ensure they feel valued and appreciated. In addition to the Parent Association of The Langley School (PALS) appreciation luncheon, faculty and staff are invited to attend the spring auction and Fall Fair at no cost, PALS prepares birthday gifts for every member of the team, and pop-up appreciation events take place throughout the year.

The Langley Fund begins on July 1 and ends on June 30 every year.

The Langley Fund Giving Circles

Annual gifts through The Langley Fund provide critical operational funding for our programs. We have designed a giving program to celebrate your support, which includes events and recognition in our annual report.

Membership in The 1942 Leadership Circle, named for the school’s founding year, is extended to those who contribute $2,500 or more to The Langley Fund in a given academic year (corporate matching gifts count toward membership if received or verified within the fiscal year). This special group exemplifies the leadership, commitment, and dedication of those who built The Langley School into the extraordinary educational institution it is today and those who want to preserve and continue its mission for tomorrow. Please consider joining The 1942 Leadership Circle.
