Langley welcomed comic book artist Shawn Martinbrough to campus as our artist-in-residence in February. During two days of workshops focused on storytelling through comics, students in grades K, 4, and 8 explored character development, story structure, page layout, and the thoughtful integration of text and images to communicate narrative effectively. As part of the experience, eighth-graders collaborated with their little buddies to create stories together.
