Middle School Trips Foster Learning & Bonding

Students in grades 7 and 8 ventured off campus for multi-day grade-level trips. Eighth-graders traveled to Baltimore where they kicked off their year-long service learning focus on food insecurity through a hunger simulation and hands-on service work at a food bank and community farm. They also visited sites around Baltimore and enjoyed plenty of bonding time. Seventh-graders practiced teamwork at the Sandy Springs Adventure Park ropes course and visited DC’s Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream to explore stories of innovation, perseverance, and education.
