To cap off the year and provide students with some final moments to bond as a class, Middle Schoolers enjoyed grade-level trips. Sixth-graders visited Calleva in Dickerson, MD, for an overnight camping trip that featured activities including a ropes course, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, rock climbing, and wilderness skills. Seventh-graders spent two days in Philadelphia where they visited the Reading Terminal Market, Franklin Institute, National Constitution Center, and South Street Seaport. Eighth-graders enjoyed three days of activities in New York City, including visits to the American Museum of Natural History, Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge, the World Trade Center site, and the 1 World Trade Center observation deck. They also took an evening harbor lights boat tour and attended a Broadway performance of "Maybe Happy Ending.”
