Student presents American Revolution project

During their study of the American Revolution, seventh-grade social studies students selected topics and conducted inquiry-based research on everything from traitors and spies, disease and medicine, and camp life to the founding fathers, race, class, and gender, and the role of black soldiers. In addition to exploring their topics and presenting their findings, students recreated a class game like Monopoly, Battleship, or chess into a new version that connected and represented their topic.
