Students program robots

As part of Langley’s robotics curriculum, third-graders took part in a three-month-long Vex Go robotics unit in technology class. Students worked in teams to build base rovers designed to collect samples from Mars. They measured distances across a test field and programmed their robots to navigate to sample locations autonomously. Each team successfully coded their rover to pick up samples and return to home base, applying engineering design and computational thinking skills throughout the project.
